What will I be doing?
You will be working in health clinics, nurseries, schools, kitchens and agriculture programs. Depending on your skill and your time volunteering there are many things to get involved with. To teaching in the schools with the children and/or the teachers to working in the weekly medical clinics.
What impact would I have?
You would be helping children in Cambodia who are either poor or whose parents are not there for them: orphans, street children, children living in poor rural areas and children affected by natural disasters, such as flood or famine. CamKids work with local communities offering long-term support to thousands of children and their families through the provision of MEND (Medical, Education, Nutrition, Development) and vocational skills as well as support for families that have been affected by illness or disease.

You will be working with the local community, the children and their families.

Kampong Speu: Provided on site (small charge to cover the cost of providing the facilities)
Phnom Penh: To be found by volunteer (assistance will be provided to locate suitable choices)
Minimum time
Nurses & Teachers: Minimum 1 month
All other volunteers: Minimum 3 months
Extra Costs
Food: $2 / meal
Airport transfer: $5-45 (Depending on placement location)
CamKids T-shirts / Uniform: $15 for two
