What Open Cultural Center says about Indigo:
“Indigo have been so helpful in finding volunteers to staff our informal education project supporting refugees and asylum seekers in Greece! They’ve connected us with some wonderful individuals who have brought invaluable energy, enthusiasm, and the desire to make a difference. Without them, we couldn’t do what we do.
Rania is a great example. After an introduction from Indigo, and a video interview, Rania flew over from her home in the US, and has been working so hard. She has been teaching, running children’s activities, and improved how we document our timetable.
Her interest in public health, and background in psychology have given her an inspiring empathy with our community here. We’re lucky to have found her. Thank you Indigo! “
Open Cultural Center based in Northern Greece provides non-formal education and cultural activities for refugees living in Greece. They deliver classes and create a safe space to continue learning with activities including art, sport and music as well as a variety of other workshops.
