This is a testimony from our lovely partners Intereuropean Humanitarian Aid. IHA supports people from the refugee community in Northern Greece with basic necessities, educational and community activities.
Although we've had to adapt our operations due to the national lockdown, our work is still reliant on a small team of dedicated volunteers. In January, Indigo connected us with new volunteers based on their skills and availability to suit our current needs so that we're able to keep running our projects during this challenging time.
They connected us to an English teacher and a social media volunteer who are both confirmed to start volunteering with us soon.
We were so happy to be able to support them last month by connecting them with volunteers who had the skills they were looking for, at the time they needed them! Now, IHA has an English teacher and Social Media Volunteer to help them continue their project.
Are you inspired to help us continue supporting projects with volunteers who have the skills they need? Our partners are for people looking for a variety of different skills - you, or someone you know, might be the perfect fit!
Have a look at what volunteer roles are currently needed.
