What will I be doing?
Our team responds to WASH and shelter needs of people on the move. Currently our operations are based in Mavrovouni RIC on Lesvos. We have a wide range of daily activities: from rain water management, such as laying sandbags, spreading gravel and being on-call in times of wet weather, to all types of small construction projects to improve the conditions in the camp and increase the number WASH facilities, we also actively contribute towards mapping and monitoring the camp and its facilities. We are looking for practical, active people who can help us find solutions to all manner of problems.
What impact would I have?
Our work is hands-on, practical, and solution-focussed. You may come home tired and dirty, but satisfied with your day’s work. Through our work we are able to see the general conditions of the camp improve, little by little.
